Turkey burgers are great sources of protein but sometimes can be dry or flavorless.  The veggies in these burgers keep them super-moist and the feta and nutritional yeast* makes them incredibly tasty.  Best of all they’re only 250 calories!


5 oz 93% lean ground turkey

1 Tbs each of finely chopped vegetables:  mushrooms, onions, bell pepper

1 Tbs of nutritional yeast

1 Tbs of feta cheese (Optional) You may also substitute blue cheese or gorgonzola

Couple of dashes of garlic powder 1/4 Tsp of chopped fresh garlic

Mix all ingredients together and form a patty.  Pan-sear or grill on medium heat until cooked through


Makes 1 Burger

250 calories, 28 grams of protein, 11 grams of fat, 3 grams of fiber, 2 grams of carbs
